Located in the heart of the Bellarine Peninsula, BIG4 Bellarine is one of Australia’s newest parks and only a 20-minute hop and a skip from Geelong.
This custom-designed Bellarine Holiday Park has been specifically built to revolutionise the way families holiday with their kids.
That’s the very reason you will find an indoor water complex, fitness centre, a BMX track, go-karts, cinema room, flying fox, an indoor toddler play room, adventure playground, full size football goals, 1.2km walking track, soccer goals, croquet lawn, tennis court, coffee bar and a bucket load more.
The Propeld Solution
Propeld worked with BIG4 Bellarine to produce a website that engages with its customers and manages the complications of showing accommodation availability and taking online bookings.
The client uses the Newbook system to manage their bookings, so we teamed up with them to develop an integrated system to book online. The user experiences a seamless booking process that shows them availability for each accommodation type, the next available dates, and special offers that fall within their booking period, without ever leaving the main website.
The website hosts the ability to purchase gift vouchers that integrate directly with the Newbook system. BIG4 members can use their membership benefits during the booking process to receive discounts.
The most effective benefit to BIG4 Bellarine is there are no commissions to be paid on any bookings directly through their website, saving the holiday park 6 figures per year.
BIG4 Bellarine has a medley of facilities and activities on offer to families, and we captured these by producing stunning video footage. A video production and distribution strategy was developed to ensure the video we produced would generate the best return on investment for the client.
We used video on the website homepage banner to immediately show visitors to the site what the park has to offer in conjunction with a 2 minute feature video highlighting all of the best aspects of the park.
We produced video walk throughs of each of the accommodation types to illustrate the high standards the park offers its guests and a series of social media shorts targeted at the key demographics of visitors interested in visiting the park.
