About The Client

The Tin Shed is the official Club House of the Barwon Grove Golf Club and it was built entirely by members.

Barwon Grove Golf Club’s mission is: ‘To promote the sport of golf and provide hospitality for its members, and in doing so, be recognised as the leading community club on the Bellarine.

The Tin Shed provides a safe and healthy family friendly environment for members to socialise and nurture good friendships. They promote sporting and recreational activities for the benefit of the local community and other organisations.

Their vision is to provide the best possible environment for their members to experience a community sporting club promoting participation, achievement, and contribution. Their mission is to be recognized as the leading community club on the Bellarine. In so doing, and with the support of our members, they will continue to contribute to our local community.

The Client’s Problem

The treasurer from The Tin Shed approached Propeld to create a brand and website for the club.

The treasurer wanted to create a more professional look for the Club. A big part of this was creating an instantly recognisable brand that people within the local community to connect with The Tin Shed.

The Club required a membership website that allowed prospective members to join the Club and renew their memberships annually easily.

In addition, the Club wanted to be able to promote upcoming events and sell tickets through their new website.

The Propeld Solution

Propeld created unique brand that represented the Club and built a website with a powerful membership system.  

We worked with the Club to create a brand that would increase the awareness of The Tin Shed and give the Club a professional look to members, visitors and the local community.

We built a robust website that allowed them to offer different membership packages and manage members.

The website also included the ability to list and sell tickets for events, allowing the Club to move from an offline sales model to an online one that enabled them to promote upcoming member functions and special events better.
